This bat system is designed for the Shimpo Whisper potters wheel. Manufactured, (as are all our bat systems), from Tricoya Extreme exterior board, it is strong and stable with superb waterproof properties which virtually eliminates the problems of warping and swelling common to cheaper products. The master bat is 353mm in diameter with 10mm bat pin holes drilled to your dimensions (if required). Prima 12″ Potters Bat Systems are produced from Tricoya Extreme MDF. The diameter of the 12mm thick master bat is 305mm (12inches) with 10mm bat pin holes drilled at 254mm centres, and the removable inserts are 180mm square by 6mm thick.

This complete 12inch bat system comprises of the master bat and 12 inserts. Additional inserts can be purchased separately. All our wheel bat systems are delivered free of charge to the UK mainland and our packaging materials are 100% recyclable or compostable.

This bat system is designed specifically for the Rhode potters wheel, and as with all our bat systems it is manufactured from Tricoya Extreme MDF, containing all the superior, stability, durability, and waterproof qualities of this premium material. The diameter of the 12mm thick master bat is 340mm with bat pin holes drilled at 250mm centres and the 6mm thick inserts are 180mm square. Inserts are easily lifted to dry without touching the wet ware via a simple recess in the master bat and a routed finger profile to the reverse. This system comprises of a master bat and 12 easily removed and stored inserts, additional inserts are available to purchase separately.

The 12mm thick master bat is 295mm in diameter with a 10mm semi circular notch drilled in the perimeter to exactly locate inside the Lotus alloy wheel head and the removable inserts are 180mm square. The inserts being square occupy far less area on your drying shelves and are easily removed from the master bat, (without lifting wet ware by hand) via a convenient finger profile routed to the reverse and a simple recess in the master.

Shimpo Aspire bat systems with removable inserts are ideal for throwing smaller ware, and the easily removed and stored square inserts free up valuable drying space on your shelves as they occupy far less area than a circular bat. Both the master bats and inserts are manufactured from Tricoya Extreme, a material which is long lasting, durable and stable and contains excellent waterproofing properties. This makes our Shimpo Aspire bat system far easier use, clean and store. Tricoya is a high quality product far superior to standard or water resistant MDF and the swelling or warping issues associated with inferior MDF products are virtually eliminated. Tricoya Extreme, similar in appearance to MDF but excelling in performance, is the perfect material for the production of wheel bats and bat systems.

The diameter of the Shimpo Aspire bat system 12mm master bat is 254mm (10inches) with 10mm bat pin holes drilled at the required Aspire centre dimensions and the 6mm thick inserts are 125mm square. These space saving inserts with a routed finger profile to the reverse are easily lifted to store via a simple circular notch on the master bat. They can be shelved to dry without touching your wet ware, thus eliminating the common issue of distortion when lifting by hand.
